Last week after a made rush home from holidays I went off to a night class in polymer clay techniques. It was held at a cute little beading store in Norman Park called Mad Monnies. I learned how to make polymer clay roses, a technique which I had tried myself, not very successfully by watching you tube videos. It was fantastic to be able to have all of my questions answered and learn lots of new things that I can start putting in to practise.
I made a huge rose pendant, matching little earrings and two rings.

Sandee Harris taught the class and she is the queen of polymer clay. Take a look at her blog here to see more of her lovely creations. If you would like to purchase any of her tutorials she sell them on Etsy here along with many more jewellery and polymer clay tutorials.

How wonderful - it's great to be able to learn a new skill and immediately put it into practice!
